Hey y'all. It's been a while, I know. So much has happened in the past year and a half. I didn't think that I would have the time or the energy to ever blog again. Then along came Sharmia, a beautifully charming young lady who told me (way before she met her prince charming), that I HAD to photograph her wedding.
Usually, when I'm photographing an event, my goal is for people who weren't there to be able to feel the vibe of that day. When photographing a wedding, I have a slightly different goal in mind. The bride (and sometimes groom) has been meticulously planning every detail of that special day, sometimes for years. On the actual wedding day, there is so much excitement and so many things to do, that the day usually passes in a blur.
That's where I come in. I get to be the proverbial fly on the wall. Sometimes I mingle and chat (all while subtly directing). But other times, I fade into the background so that I can catch all the little moments that no one else observes. I laugh(a lot) and sometimes I cry. But at the end of the day, I hope that through my slideshow below, the couple can sit back and enjoy their day.....exactly the way they planned it.
